10 TPH Organic Fertilizer Production Line Helps a Southeast Asian Farm Double Annual Output

2025-08-26 15:13:00

Located in Selangor, Malaysia—a region known for its dense concentration of vegetable plantations—Mr. Lee’s family farm has been a local supplier of organic fertilizer for over 8 years. However, in recent years, with the rapid expansion of local vegetable cultivation areas (the number of cooperative vegetable growers increased from 120 to 280), the farm’s traditional composting method has become increasingly inefficient. The old production process, which relied on manual turning and simple crushing equipment, could only achieve a production capacity of 5 TPH. This not only led to frequent stockouts (especially during the peak planting seasons of March-May and September-November), but also made it difficult to meet the strict nutrient requirements of high-value vegetables (such as baby spinach and cherry tomatoes), resulting in a gradual loss of 15% of its original customer base.

In early 2024, after comparing 3 equipment suppliers from China and Malaysia, Mr. Lee finally chose our 10 TPH organic fertilizer production line. The line is fully tailored to the local climate and raw material characteristics: it includes a high-temperature aerobic fermentation turner (capable of adjusting the turning speed according to the humidity of local chicken manure and rice straw), a dual-stage crusher (solving the problem of uneven crushing of hard straw), a horizontal mixer (ensuring uniform mixing of nutrients), and a drum granulator (producing 3-5mm spherical granules that are easy for farmers to spread). During the installation phase (which lasted 2 weeks), our technical team not only completed the equipment assembly and debugging, but also conducted 5 on-site training sessions for the farm’s 8 operators—covering everything from daily equipment maintenance (such as lubricating the turner bearings) to emergency handling (such as troubleshooting blockages in the crusher).

After 3 months of stable operation, the farm’s daily production capacity reached 80 tons (calculated based on 8 hours of operation per day, equivalent to 10 TPH), and the nutrient content of the fertilizer was stably maintained at N+P+K ≥ 5%, with organic matter content exceeding 45%—fully meeting Malaysia’s National Agricultural Standard (MS 1529:2019) for organic fertilizers. By the end of 2024, the farm’s annual output had doubled from 14,000 tons to 28,000 tons, and it successfully regained the lost customer base. More importantly, due to the reduction in manual labor (from 12 workers to 6) and the decrease in raw material waste (from 18% to 7%), the farm’s profit margin increased by 35%. Mr. Lee said in an interview: “This production line has not only solved our capacity problem, but also made our fertilizer more competitive in the market. Now, even large-scale vegetable plantations that previously imported fertilizer from Thailand have started placing orders with us.”
